Change Looms-Learning and Leadership Journey
A leadership support program that encourages, recognises and supports young change leaders who have started social change initiatives with a
focus on youth development. The program offers opportunities for intensive personal a
nd organizational development. The program has supported more than 125 youth-led organizations and individual change leaders in the last 6 years. We invite applications from Youth leaders from across the country for the next cycle. While the program continues to select and support youth development focused change initiatives, this year we would be selecting at least 8 youth led initiatives with a specific focus on preventing Gender Based Violence (GBV) among young people.
The program supports young change leaders through:
-Collective and individual learning opportunities in areas such as Deep Self awareness,
Design and Facilitation skills, Systems Thinking and Perspective Building on various social
issues including GBV prevention.
-Exploring diversities through intensive peer engagement including peer visits.
-Mentorship linkages: to facilitate and support self and organizational development.
- Modest Financial assistance
**This year we are selecting 8 teams who champion the cause of gender equality and work
towards challenging and preventing gender based violence (GBV) among young people.

Please note:
o    Applicants must have working knowledge of Hindi and/or English
o    Teams applying for Change Looms-LLJ need to designate an anchor who will be the contact person throughout the process
o    We are unable to entertain applications from for-profit enterprises, one-off or event based initiatives, online initiatives, new projects of existing organisations and support organizations.
o    Last date for submitting applications is May 20 2013
