Capacity Building and Co-creation of Programs with Organisations, professional and potential employees

We support organisations and individuals who would like to adopt a psycho-social youth-centric development approach to build educators, youth leaders, mentors and facilitators who can take young people through journeys from self to society. This is carried out through capacity building of youth focussed organisations, community workers, teachers, educators and CSR organisations.

We have also designed programmes and curricula for youth-centric organsiations, youth facilitators, teachers and trainers from the corporate sector. Our aim is to strengthen the ecosystem and the capacities of stakeholders that engage and work with young people. These voyages have been put together using a psychosocial perspective, one that works on mindset transformation as much as social change. Some of the themes we work on largely continue to be human rights, peace, sustainable development, social justice, education, sexual and reproductive health, early child marriage, environmental sustainability, social inclusion, gender-based violence, social entrepreneurship and employability, communal harmony, youth development.

Carry out both in service and pre service like BElEd students trainings . Students and teachers facilitators; are encouraged to take stances, adopt an attitude of 100% responsibility to resolve conflicts in a win-win manner, and use assertive influencing skills to build agreement through a process of dialogue , which enables them to inspire , foster trust and positive environment in classrooms. Run regular classes with the B.El.Ed department, and have facilitated others like Jagori’s Safe School Safe City campaign to train teachers from Government schools , SCERT and the Delhi Government for mentor teachers. A recent iteration, was the 'Plan It Girls' programme supported by the International Council for Research on Women (ICRW)- to build the capacities of government school teachers to create gender sensitive safe learning spaces in government schools, run in partnership with Restless Development.
